Release Day – The Deadlands: Survival

I can’t quite believe it, but The Deadlands: Survival is out today! And just like that, the trilogy is complete.

What a journey it has been to reach this point. I started writing this series in early 2019, when I had just started dating my husband. I remember us queuing together to enter an art gallery while I babbled about my plans for triceratops battles.

In the years since, the world has changed dramatically — and my own, personal world has shifted too. I’ve moved three times, changed my day job, become engaged and married, and even had a child! Throughout it all, one thing has remained constant: my work on this trilogy.

Five exiles. Three books. One epic journey, finally reaching its conclusion.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported these books; your feedback means more to me than I can say. I hope that you enjoy Eleri and Zyre’s final adventure.

It’s Release Day!

It’s release day! The first book in The Deadlands trilogy is roaring onto bookshelves across the US, Australia and NZ today. (UK friends, it will hit your shelves next month!)

I’ve been working on this trilogy for the last few years — and it has certainly been a tumultuous time. In addition to writing three books, I got married, moved house twice, experienced the Melbourne lockdowns, changed roles at my day job… and even gave birth to my first baby!

Despite all these recent changes, one thing has remained steady: my work on this trilogy. I’ve had an absolute blast writing The Deadlands. These books are full of all my favourite story elements: magic, courage, friendship and adventure.

It’s always a bit scary to launch a new book into the world, having no idea what readers will think. I hope that you enjoy reading this one as much as I’ve loved writing it!
